Based on the principles of Lean Manufacturing, we reduced our factory time from 10 hours to 8 hours in last 12 months without any effect on the production with the same number of employees. This helped us to reduce lot of waste (waste time and waste energy) in the factory. Our ultimate aim (in line with our mission) behind this was that our employees spend more time with their families and their social circle. Research has shown that socially connected people are comparatively more satisfied and have higher happiness index and also possess a stronger immune system.
